Quiet Oaks has always felt more like a family, than a band. The four of us have played music together for 10+ years! There are no words to express what that truly means to each of us. We've toured the country, played countless shows, and recorded multiple records. We even moved from Utah to Tennessee together. We've met so many great people, and wouldn't change a thing. It has always been about the journey, and it has been one hell of a ride!
With the madness and uncertainty brought on by 2020, Mike and Jon have decided to move on to bigger things. All of us have rearranged our lives to accommodate this project, and there comes a time, when you have to do what's best for you. They are the best people, the best musicians, and the best friends anyone could ever ask for. The last decade has been an absolute privilege. It's a miracle that we made it this far, and we owe it all to them. So here's to you boys! Our best friends, our brothers, and the best damn band in the world!! We love you so much!! We're gonna die next to you!
It's heartbreaking that we can't end this chapter with the biggest show of all time, but we've gotta do something! We figured a live album would be the next best thing. This ones special because it's, literally, the last time the four of us played music together. It's a NO FRILLS // NO BULLSHIT version of our band on that day. Emotions we're high, because we knew this was it... the end of an era. It's not perfect, and we didn't edit or change anything about it. It's simply the four of us playing music together, for the last time.
Now don't worry, Quiet Oaks will continue on. Dane and Spencer aren't done yet. We have no intentions of slowing down, and we've already started recording a new record to be released in 2021. We love you all so much. Thanks for sticking by us for so long. We're looking forward to what's next!
